It’s happening again …
For the second time in less than two weeks, we’ve experienced the perennial glitch in which commenting was disabled on every blog post, preventing any of you from adding new comments.
This means I have to open every one of the hundreds of posts and reactivate commenting. I’ve already done so on the most recent posts and will be fixing the rest as quickly as I can (i.e., today).
Question for our big readership: My tech sources have tried to diagnose why it keeps reverting to this state; we’ve upgraded WordPress and looked through forums for answers, but no joy. If there’s anyone with serious WordPress fu reading this, please drop my a line at cheunderground@gmail.com … I’d be very grateful to prevent this problem altogether or at least identify a faster bulk-edit fix. Thanks in advance for any assistance!!
All patched up again … I still don’t know what’s causing the problem, though.
