"CACTUS GAZING". I love this. Like Star Gazing. Navigating by the stars. "The indians of The gulf of new mexico rose against all odds and navigated their way across the desert by cactus".

He also leads the way in old town. The gulf of New Mexico, thats something I would right, I mean write.:-)

I never have owned a pair of docs. No lie. Had some leopard spotted creepers though- fanciest shoes I owned, and they matched my hair.

So would a punk who never owned a pair of docs be considered a paradox?

nope, toby, because i think that the punkest punks couldn't afford them.

>>Did I hear some one say the "Punkest Punk`s? Hmmmmm....

Remember that old campfire song? My kids learned it at Girl Scout camp!

We're the punkest punks for miles around,
We never are a-pokin',
And if you saw the punk we had,
You'd think that I was jokin'!

It's not the punk in the Zebra Club,
Or the punk in the popcorn popper!
It's not the punk at Wabash Hall,
It's more punk than Dennis Hopper!

It's good old-fashioned P-U-N-K,
The punk you can't slam down,
San Diego punks,
The punkest punks around!

Mathew,
You are the best camp counsellor we have ever had,
That is one hell of a diddy.
Now who wants another Smore?

I'm wondering what the original lyrics were!

Well, there are myriad variants, Paul, but here's the one that my kids learned at their camp:

The peppiest camp I ever did see, It never goes a- pokin'
If I were to tell you the pep it's got, You'd think I was a - jokin'
It's not the pep in the pepper pot, Or the pop in the popcorn popper
It's not the pep in the mustard jar, Or the pop in the vinegar stopper

It's good old-fashioned P-E-P, The kind you cannot down, Eagle Island, The peppiest camp around

Mark: Let's make hobos and tell ghost stories!

Nah, they go up into the Adirondacks ... This year, they're going to a different place, in Pennsylvania, that won't make 'em swim at 6am. :-)

We camp every summer with Nancy's family in western Michigan ... We have our own pop-up camper! I am a champeen camper-popper-upper.

Man I thought Jersey was an over industrialized waste land, Who would of thunk
They had Adirondacks? Nice.....
Did you have to take a course on camper poppin, Cause Ive had one and they never seem to wanna co-operate..

There's this industrial ring right across from New York that's just mad-ugly ... But then it's really a pretty state, believe it or not. There's even (sorta) surfing on the shore!

I'm a self-trained camper-popper ... My youngest daughter and I are like a pit crew! But it's hard-won experience -- first road trip with our first camper, we neglected to check the lug nuts, lost a wheel going 70, and totaled the beast.

Always check your nuts.
