Yeah, you're gettin' New-Ro all over! I remember a photo piece at the time comparing Adam Ant's gold braid with Jimi Hendrix's.

I kind of remember the Seventh.

I liked the Seventh. We gigged with them a number of times, they were really nice guys and a most polished musical outfit. They had a song "Cry" that was really good.
I remember hearing they had actually opened for Duran Duran in SD at some point.

Yeah, Jimi and Adam Ant had the same hussars jacket with the gold braiding. The main people I remember leading the charge on the mod to new-ro transition were Richard (Joe Boy) Simpau, Greg and the Sarahs (his little sis and his girlfriend Sarah Sprye), Bret was part of that crowd before he embraced Rastafarianism and all its trappings, Ward, James Harrell, and what was Chris' last name? Big guy who wore those suede "new-ro boots" that folded over at the top....

Who were the brothers who opened Club Zu in Solana Beach?

Kelsey Farris opened Club Zu. His brother was Kendall of the Alligator pit/D street fame. Kendall died a few years ago but Kelsey is in Los Angeles working in some way in the fashion industry.

Hah! Was that me? I vaguely recall something to that effect. Something to do with scrapes on my palms I got from falling down or something. How many freaking years ago was that? Man.

I'm just glad you're still alive Pat, what with all the psychic noise going on in your vicinity. Maybe you can make the next Gompers reunion. Claudia and John Sonka would be glad to see you I bet! You, Jerry, and Tom Goddard were conspicuous absences.

Oh, and if the mold = ergot then consider it long broken and ungluable like our minds...
